Insitu encourages employees to be leaders at all levels in order for us as a company to realize our vision: Decision-making superiority delivered. Our workforce is united by a common dedication to the development of industry-leading systems that collect, process and distribute information for existing and expanding customer markets. This is more than just a work environment and we create more than just products with wings. We are an integrated information and technology company offering a lifestyle that blends the pace and challenges of a growing global company with a love of exploring the best of what the Columbia River Gorge has to offer while also providing opportunities to work at one of our other exciting locations. Insitu invites candidates from all backgrounds and walks of life to explore our available opportunities and become part of our team as we lead the unmanned revolution.
One of the undeniable, yet unquantifiable benefits of working at Insitu is living in the Columbia River Gorge where Insitu is headquartered. There’s no shortage of recreational activities here, from kiteboarding and windsurfing to skiing and snowboarding, the Gorge has it all and we have the recognition to back up that statement. Livability.com ranked Hood River as the No. 7 Best Small Town in America and CNN ranked Hood River No. 7 on a list of 11 Great Riverfront Towns. And if playing outside isn’t your thing, the Gorge has plenty of shopping, wining, and dining options and is just an hour away from the Portland metro area. Additionally, our Insitu Commercial colleagues call San Mateo and Irvine, California, home and, depending on specific roles and responsibilities, Insitu works with employees who need to work remotely.
Insitu interns are fully immersed in projects that make a difference within our business and mentored by an Insitu team member who shares their passion. We’re looking for interns who are currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a GPA of at least 3.0 for the winter, summer, or fall terms.
It’s hard to beat the benefits of working for such a diverse, inclusive team, but we always like to rise to a challenge. Our goal is to ensure a competitive total compensation package including wages, benefits, and incentives. Our benefits include:
At Insitu we strive to promote a fun and flexible work environment for our employees. To accomplish this, a majority of our company operates on a 9/80 schedule, meaning work hours are distributed to allow most of our employees to have every other Friday off. In addition to allowing for a better work/life balance, we aim to help our employees take advantage of the awesome places we call home on these off-Fridays through our 9/80 Active Friday Program, which provides various events for Insitu employees free of charge. Windsurfing, wine tasting, waterfall hikes, sternwheeler cruises on the Columbia River and sailing in the Bay Area are just a few examples of Active Fridays our employees have gotten to enjoy thus far.
Availability of the 9/80 schedule and Active Friday program is dependent on individual employee duties and responsibilities. Potential new hires should discuss participation in this program with Insitu Human Resources.
We keep our connections informed with updates on the latest happenings in our company, industry and global community.
